Andrés Cibils is an Associate Professor of Rangeland Science in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences at New Mexico State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Rangeland Ecosystem Science from Colorado State University and teaches rangeland management and ecology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Andrés and his graduate students conduct research on ruminant/plant interactions in arid and semiarid environments, and investigate grazing behavior of rangeland-raised livestock. Their research efforts have resulted in 32 peer-reviewed journal articles, six book chapters, and over 100 abstracts and proceedings papers presented at professional and scientific conferences.
