Carlos Ochoa is a Research Assistant Professor of Hydrology at NMSU. He graduated with a BS in Animal and Range Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH) and with a MS in Agricultural Economics and a PhD in Range Science from NMSU. He has also been an Agricultural Research Specialist in Watershed Management. During more than 10 years he has investigated surface water and groundwater interactions in acequia irrigated systems of northern New Mexico. He has authored and coauthored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and technical reports.
