Steve Guldan is a Professor in the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences and Superintendent at New Mexico State University’s Alcalde Sustainable Agriculture Science Center. He has also worked at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center in Mexico, the Carrington Research Extension center in North Dakota as an employee of Michael Fields Agricultural Institute. At NMSU Gulden has led or collaborated on various research studies related to forages, horticultural crops, green manures, interseeding methods, and acequia agriculture hydrology. He has authored and coauthored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and technical reports.
